Make it possible for your kids to do things for themselves. Keep appropriate foods where they can reach them in the cupboards and fridge. Put everyday dishes on lower shelves so they can reach them without your help--which means they can put them away too. Let them pick their own clothing without worrying if it matches, if they like the outfit they chose that should be good enough.

Motherhood is not easy whether you work full-time or not. When the kids are old enough - start assigning tasks for them to do (put laundry in their drawers, clean up toys, set the table). Will the results be perfect - no. But it will give you a chance to relax and give your kids a chance to feel as part of a team and happy that they helped mommy.

I also shop online for everything. I can shop at lunch or late at night. It keeps me from dragging the kids around every weekend and frees up time for me to spend with them.

Try to grab a healthy snack before leaving work, so that you have energy and are not so cranky when you get home and make sure there is wine at home to help you destress while or after cooking the dinner.

BlackBerry! My husband and I both have one. I schedule appointments and send them to him so we are ALWAYS on the same page. I use a PDLists app to make a list for everything. No paper, no hassle, all in ONE place! I have an eCheckRegister app, mobile banking, etc.

Leave the baby at day care while you do the week's grocery shopping. More room in the cart, no baby waiting in the carseat while you load/unload the car and put away groceries.

Stop feeling bad about not working out. Take the kids for a walk. It's great exercise and a great bonding experience.
