If you have a crawler or new walker, keep soft blankets/throws (in the case of hardwood floors) in every room, because they have a tendency to topple over as soon as they come off of the carpet, so if you have something to do in a particular room and need to put them down, you can grab a soft blanket and put it next to the rug, or mat you sit them on, I have found it makes things go smoother!

To expedite your morning, put sippy cups and "ready-to-go" breakfast items low in the fridge. If your kids can help themselves, you might be able to squeeze in eye makeup!

I hired an awesome lady to clean my house at least one a month at $80 a visit. She comes on a Thursday so that I don't have to spend the weekend doing it and she cleans so well it makes us all feel like we just moved in! It is so worth it to have someone do the heavy cleaning so I can do the quick maintaining until she comes again.

If your employer has an onsite gym, use it at lunch! Try not to have meetings that start at 12 or 1pm (which may be very difficult for some). I am blessed to have a small gym and an outdoor path to workout during lunchtime. I shower, pop in a Lean Cusine and feel rejuvenated to finish the afternoon strong. I can spend time with my family and sleep like a baby at night.
