Study: Two-Thirds of English Families Rely on Grandparents for Child Care.

Quoting a study commissioned by the Skipton Building Society, the U.K.’s The Telegraph [1] reported that in a majority of British families where both parents are working, grandparents are enlisted to help take care of the kids because professional child care is too costly. "The research says that without grandparents coming to the rescue, half of working parents would be forced to live on a tighter budget, and a fifth of mothers would be unable to work," The Telegraph reported.
