Study: Resumes with Parenting Clues Yield Fewer Interviews

The Wall Street Journal's blog "The Juggle [1],"discussed a different aspect of the New York Times [2] feature story on MomsRising. The blog focused on a forthcoming study that was mentioned in the article from Cornell University which found that mothers who had parenting "clues" on their resumes -- like mentioning their involvement on PTOs, etc. - were less likely to be interviewed for a job than those whose resumes contained nothing related to parenting. (Dads who included such parent-related information, the paper said, were not affected.)
