A new survey found that “about half of Americans with assets of more than $250,000 said they won’t pay the entire tab for their children’s education,” Bloomberg News reported [1]. One of the survey’s authors told Bloomberg that, “What the numbers show is just the rising cost of college and the financial demands on middle class and affluent families.” Twenty-nine percent of those surveyed told pollsters that by “limiting access to the bank of Mom and Dad” they’ll be teaching “their kids financial responsibility, Bloomberg said.
