The article addresses when parents take time off from their jobs, and how many might focus on their children while they are young, but then miss critical adolescent years.
"The happiest moms really do have some control over their schedules," says Sachs, encouraging that if moms only have 30 uninterrupted minutes in the morning and at night, to really engage with their children in that time.
