Moms Need more ZZZs

It was all over the news this past week. Moms don't get enough sleep. Come as a shock? Not if you're a mom. A poll conducted by the University of California-San Francisco and the National Sleep Foundation found that 72 percent of working moms and 74 percent of at-home moms reported "symptoms of insomnia at least a few nights a week" along with other sleep difficulties, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.  Fifty-nine percent of at-home moms also said when they woke up in the morning, they didn't feel refreshed. Despite the sleep deprivation, the researchers said moms tend to plow through their days - 80 percent said they felt sleepy during the day -- by drinking copious amounts of caffeine.
