Get Your Lipstick Tube Ready.
And if the show became interesting to me, that meant, of course, that NBC had to put it on the edge of a cliff, threatening to cancel it, just as it was getting good. Despite erroneous reports in November that it had been canceled, NBC execs said while they burn through the fresh episodes they’ve already made, they’ll decide whether Lipstick Jungle lives or dies depending on its ratings (DVR playbacks included.)
Some fans have taken to mailing tubes of lipstick to NBC, along with notes saying that there aren’t many TV shows starring and about successful fortysomething women, so why not keep this one? Me? I’m getting my symbolic tube of lipstick ready to send to NBC in the hopes it’ll be renewed. And hopefully I’m not too late and it hasn’t been killed by the time you read this, in which case, consider this its obit.

Good to know. I actually thought Lipstick Jungle got cut from the lineup. Now that it's coming back I will be sure to put it on my TiVo list. I agree. The show actually has some interesting storylines you don't see on other chick shows.
