I Love My Calendar Girl.
by Maria Pilar Clark
Ok, so your fridge can't tell you that there's only one paltry swig of milk left in the jug or that the bag of mesclun salad you have in the crisper is on the fast track to compost.
But with Cozi, it can tell you which family member will be AWOL next Tuesday so you make sure the dog gets let out, exactly what time that huge diorama depicting the Paleolithic Age has to be dropped off at the school, and how long you have to count the minutes until you get a Pilates break with your best friend.
Designed especially for busy families, Cozi is a free comprehensive web service that helps you tackle and manage your family calendar, including tracking to-do and shopping lists, organizing chores and appointments via color codes, and staying in touch with on-the-go family members with reminders/updates/messages or even by quickly capturing moments blog style.
All you need to get started is a Cozi account (no downloads required) and the mindset of a manager. I think that comes with mom territory already.
Just think, in a few short clicks, you can access all the information normally reserved for the fridge door from any PC with internet access or from your mobile phone. No sticky notes required.

I've just signed up for this and love it! I've set it as my homepage so it's the first thing I see when I open my laptop. I'm still going to keep my physical planner so I can take it with me in my bag or in the car, but this is very nice to have. I think I may end up using this service more than the old planner though!
