Moms And Sons

Want to make sure your teenage boy stays out of trouble?

A new study published in the journal Child Development has found that the mom/son relationship affects a boy's teenage behavior.

Researchers found that “Boys who had lots of conflict with their mothers were more likely to engage in delinquent behavior as teens, while boys who had a close relationship with their mothers were more likely to have a good relationship with their best friends when they became teams, USA Today reported.

“Mothers of sons who had a difficult temperament as toddlers said their relationship with their son included a lot of conflict and lower levels of closeness over time,” the newspaper said.
